Michael co-founded XMedia to provide clients with a reliable, results-oriented resource for marketing communications. Since 1999, he and Ellie have worked closely with a wide range of businesses and non-profits. Outcomes include increased sales, enhanced brand recognition and a better understanding of each organization by their key audiences.

Prior to XMedia, Michael was with Frank Russell Company for six years. As marketing communications manager, he created communications strategies that generated leads to prospects with more than $20 billion in assets to invest. He also worked with company chairman George F. Russell on writing projects including the Annual Letter to Clients, speeches and by-line articles. Before joining Russell, Michael worked as a reporter for Photo District News, the leading trade publication for commercial photography.

When left to his own devices, Michael spends his time photographing, fly-fishing, reading history and “researching” fine wines. He earned his B.A. at Yale College and his M.A. at the University of Virginia.
